If our people are the heart of 2nd Story, then their stories are surely our lifeblood: stories of struggle, of strength, of survival, of love and joy and all facets of the human experience. Each year, dozens of new stories make their way to the chair (2nd Story shorthand for performing with us), and here we present a sampling of those works for your enjoyment:

• Listen to our tellers, recorded live on stage or in the studio, as they turn the personal and immediate into something more universal and lasting.

• Read the words that defined those stories in the first place.
