Rosie Forrest

Rosie Forrest was a featured 2nd Story storyteller from 2003-2009. Now, she makes her home in Nashville, Tennessee, working with Vanderbilt Programs for Talented Youth. Rosie won the Nashville Reads Short Story Contest, and most recently was named the winner of the 9th Annual Rose Metal Press Short Short Chapbook contest. Other publications include Word Riot, SmokeLong Quarterly, Whiskey Island, Ampersand, and Dogwood. Rosie was the 2013 Interlochen Arts Academy writer-in-residence, and she earned her MFA from the University of New Hampshire. Chicago, however, will always be home.
