Minita Gandhi

Minita Gandhi is an East-Indian born, San Francisco raised, Chicago based actor and writer. She has had the privilege of working at Berkeley Repertory Theater, The Arena Stage, Lookingglass Theater, Victory Gardens Theater, and many other regional theaters around the country. She is a proud pledge host for PBS’s Chicago affiliate station, WTTW. And, she has been on NBC’s Chicago Fire and Crisis, ABC’s Betrayal, and Fox’s The Chicago Code. She was the Onion News Network’s anchor Nina Shankar, and performs with award winning improv troupe, Wavelength. She travels the world as a Master Trainer for Pinnacle Performance, a global skills communication training firm. She is currently working on her first one-woman show called MUTHALAND, which will be produced by the progressive Silk Road Theater in Chicago April 23-26th. Minita is passionate about words, stories, and their ability to heal. She is equally passionate about laughter, twirling, and red wine.
