Howard Sandifer

Howard Sandifer is a native Chicagoan who began taking piano lessons at the age of seven and performed his first piano solo “Moon River” by Henry Mancini in sixth grade at his elementary school talent show. Howard is a graduate of Farragut High School and Roosevelt University’s Chicago Musical College where he majored in Music Education and minored in piano. During his college days, he began working as an accompanist for local pop, R&B and theatrical performers. While maintaining a full musical schedule, Howard founded a music school serving the youth on the city’s Westside: Chicago West Community Music Center, (www.cwcmc.org) whose mission is ” to enhance the quality of individual lives and develop family connectivity by providing instruction, exposure and experiences in music”.
